We’re chuffed to be bringing the skin-tingling artistry of Chloe Rodham to High Bridge this February. As an animator, maker and lecturer at Northumbria and Sunderland Unis, Chloe specialises in traditional and digital animation, experimenting with a variety of mediums to tell magical stories. Not only will she be talking to us about balancing lots of different things and how projects feed into one another (we could all do with advice on that one), she’s also gonna be running an animation workshop.
Yup, we’re gonna be making something and bringing it to life.
Tickets include 2-3 glasses of wine/non-alcoholic drink (there’s no pressure to drink booze) and fabulous vegetarian/vegan cheese and biscuits. You’ll need to be on it if you don’t want to be disappointed. Head to the link in the bio to book your ticket.
Our meet-ups are inclusive and supportive spaces and we welcome anyone who’s creative (in whatever form that takes) to join us. We also recognise that our male allies can support our cause further by hearing the thoughts and opinions voiced at our get-togethers. We only ask that our guests respect the inclusive atmosphere and continue to engage in discussion and idea generation for the promotion and support of equal opportunities for female identifying creatives.
Please note: We usually share emails with our participants so that we can all stay connected. We also take photos during the night for our social media channels. Please let us know in advance if you’d rather not take part. If you have any queries regarding our gender inclusion policy, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re learning all the time and we welcome any positive feedback.
