Good practice in volunteer management
Connected Voice Support and Development helps organisations to run successfully and make a positive difference in their communities. This training is for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations serving Newcastle and Gateshead.
This session is delivered by Karen Watson from Newcastle Volunteer Centre -which works to promote, support and celebrate volunteering across the city.
Organisations serving Gateshead are welcome to attend.
This session is for you if you are new to the role of volunteer management in your organisation, or have been doing this for a while but want to develop a strategy to improve your chances of success.
The session will help you :
- Identify and understand the key principles of good practice in volunteer management
- Explore how to apply these principles of good practice to your organisation
- Identify and understand how COVID has impacted on the demands of volunteer management
Not eligible for this session but still interested in attending? We offer bespoke training covering a range of topics. Our sessions are delivered online using Zoom making them ideal for organisations based across England.
