NEPIC Clean Growth Event

NEPIC NEPIC

HM Government clearly has national aspirations for ‘Clean Growth’ and associated ‘Green Jobs’ but what does this mean for the chemical processing sector? During this wide-ranging event, we will look at green issues across energy generation, chemical processing, transport, and government policy & funding opportunities.

Clean Growth is about protecting the environment whilst still allowing our industries to grow. We need to reduce the amount of CO2 being released into the atmosphere and recycle more of the plastics that are essential to modern living.

This event will look at new methods of clean energy generation, storage and transportation and how they will impact on the future economy. We will examine industrial symbiosis, industrial bioprocessing and plastics recycling as ways of minimising industry’s impact on the environment. The significant plans for carbon capture and storage on Teesside will be presented, along with funding opportunities and the emerging government green policies.

Join us live and online on Wednesday 9th June 2021 to better understand the significant implications for ‘Clean Growth’ in the North East of England and what this could mean to your business.
