If you have a passion that you are ready to create a paycheque out of, Junction Point is here to support you. Our fully-funded community learning and workshops will inspire and underpin the groundwork needed to create change and launch a business.

What is Passion to Paycheque?

Passion to Paycheque is a fully funded program that offers 12 hours of support to individuals that are interested in creating social impact businesses.

The majority of the support will be delivered face to face over two days (one per week) however, participants will also have the opportunity to book in time for one to one coaching that can take place online or in person.

Who is this for?

Individuals, pre-start and early stage start-ups that need support in validating ideas, creating a strong value proposition, testing assumptions and pitching skills. We help you to avoid common and costly mistakes while building a robust foundation for your business. If you are socially motivated and interested in creating a paycheque out of your passion while working within the not-for-profit sector, this program is for you.

What is included?

12 hours of support in the form of online learning, fireside chats with experts and one to one coaching. Participants will complete the program having validated their business idea, created a business plan outline and completed a business model canvas.

Passion to Paycheque will be comprised of 10 modules. They are as follows:

  • One to One Coaching
  • Psychometric Testing to help you understand your strengths and weaknesses
  • Introduction to the not-for-profit sector and the opportunities within it
  • Ideation (exploring your ideas and testing out the theory)
  • Validation (gathering evidence around ideas through experimentation to make fast, informed and de-risked decisions)
  • Pitching (learning how to clearly pitch your business and explain your value for funding, funders and sales)
  • Value Proposition (creating a strong, clear statement that explains the value you provide)
  • Creation of a Business Model Canvas and Lean Business Model Canvas

Beyond this, learning how to properly pitch is one of the most important skills a founder needs to develop. It allows you to find investors, attract great co-founders, recruit the best employees, and ultimately fine-tune your idea.
