The phrase ‘it takes a village’ comes to mind as that’s exactly the case for launching the worlds first strategic networking platform!

There’s a whole bunch of ridiculously talented, amazing people who have worked really hard on bringing the new NetKno-Where platform to life so I wanted to give them a big fat shout-out and celebrate their genius!

Design & Build – Layers Studio

I’m really proud to have been working with Layers since day dot. Well, I say that but for the first 8 months NetKno was known as ‘Networking KnoWho’ (sounds so weird now) and used a rather shoddy logo I created on Canva. We met online during the pandemic when I was looking for quotes to build the first version of NetKno-Where, and get an actual brand created – they were referred to me by a friend (thanks Sophie Peel!) and although we never met in person until probably a year later I knew straight away they were the right bunch for me.

The thing I love about Layers is that they’ll tell you what they think. I love that! I don’t want to work with people who just agree with everything I say, I want people who are experts (which they are) and give me feedback (good and bad) and come up with solutions or alternatives that means together we create something even better! They use their expertise to guide me, and that’s exactly what I was looking for. Not only that but their design work is next level – I mean have you seen the new site and sub-brands?!

Copy – Holly Peacock-Goodwin

Holly is someone I’m not only immensity proud to call my friend because she’ll literally one of the greatest humans I’ve ever met (and I’ve met a LOT), she’s also r talented, ridiculously passionate and knowledgeable about her work. I can’t sing her praises enough and if you take a look around the new site you’ll quickly see how she’s been able to bring it to life with her words.

Email – Maybe Later – Alex Fearon

I was so excited to find Alex! I came across her work online and quickly knew she was the person I’d been looking for to help create a beautiful, personal engagement with NetKno-Where subscribers. She has a real love for email marketing and copy writing, as well as being just a lush person to work with. Creating the email story line for the new site is just going to be the first of many projects together I can tell.

Photography – Christopher Owens

What a boss this man is.

Chris has single-handedly got me into more publications and on more features than anything else simply by doing what he does best – creating fantastic, powerful photography that’s filled with passion and personality. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – commissioning Chris to do my head-shots when I first started the business in 2020 was the best investment I ever made. And I’m so in love with the new shots for the new site, I didn’t know if it was gonna be possible but I reckon they’re event better! He’s even featured them on his new platform Pattern – go see!

Events – Ruby Mood – Phoebe Scaife

To me Phoebe is by far one of the most important people in the world, because she’s the one who keeps the whole thing going! Phoebe manages the maintenance of the entire event listing, to ensure it’s up to date and all new events are added. (Yes the NetKno-Where site is ran by real human, not robots!) We’ve been working together for over a year now and it’s an absolute dream.

So that’s it! These are the people who actually make everything happen and I couldn’t be more grateful for all the hard work and talent you’ve put into building and maintaining NetKno with me. You’re my heros.

I’d love to hear what you think of the new NetKno site, and make sure you sign up to get your 30 day FREE TRIAL of NetKno-Where to see what all the fuss is about!
